I have a bunch of different favorite bands. I really like Lifehouse, they have really good lyrics. I also like Fall out Boy. I don't really have a favorite type of music. I basically listen to whatever i feel like and i depends on what kind of mood i am in. If i am in a good mood, then i will listen to happyish music, and not slow songs or songs with slow music. If i am in a bad mood, then I will listen to slower songs.
Sometimes I will listen to songs without lyrics, and songs with just instruments.

I don't really have a favorite genre of music, i listen to the kind of music for whatever kind of mood i am in at that time. But i guess that one of my favorite band is Lifehouse. I listen to fast upbeat kind of music when i am getting ready for a game or if i just want to get pumped up for something. I listen to slow music when i do my homework, because if I don't, then there is no way that I will be able to pay attention. I like Lifehouse, because they just have a good "softness" in their songs. That is kind of lame though, but it's true

technology

The kind of technology that we used in our school varies between subjects. If you are math, we use graphing calculators, and in our other classes, we will use the computer. In classes like robotics, then you will use different kinds of technology to make your robot work. At home, I use my computer for facebook, to load up pictures, itunes, and looking things up on the enternet. I use my phone alot, I text my friends, and I hardly ever call anyone, but its a good place to store all of my friends numbers.

project

The culture exchange project was kind of cool. You got to read what some people thought about their school, or the place that they live and some about their country. For the people in america, you got to read their point of view of the things that go on in our country. But all in all, the project was ok, and well it was fine.

diversity

The diversity in Austin is pretty apparent. There is such a high amount, that you really don't even notice it anymore. The diversity has helped a little in my understanding of other countries, because you see the way that they act, and the food that they eat. You also may get introduced to new things by watching the diverse people and what they do.

Favorite Places

My favorite place in my country would have to be Hawaii. I went there when i was 11 and i have always wanted to go back. It is so quiet there, and has alot of places that you can go see. The water is very warm in the winter and in the summer. The beaches are most of the time very clean, and there are some tours you can take and you get to go to different places on the island. There really isn't much of a city on the island that i went on, but the senery was amazing, and i would love to go back.

terrorist attacks

Our country has had a few terrorist attacks. One we had was the 9/11 attack on the twin towers, and we have had some bombings. The 9/11 attack was when, terrorist took over an airplane, and then they drove it into one of the twin towers. It knocked them both down. There was also a bombing in the Pentagon near by, which could have been planed by terrorists. The security in America is now much stronger and they are more stricked about letting people on planes and letting people move places, which has helped a little on the bombing and some of the terrorits attacks.

My School

My school is so cool. We have alot of classes to choose from, and alot of extra ciricular things to participate in. Things that i am doing are, soccer, orchestra, and German. i think that the things that sound fun are, the german club, and the magazine class. We have really cool teachers hear, and we have a great staff and it's really cool. Our school is also very big. There are three storys and an extra wing for the fine arts area.

Immigrants

In my country, there are a few illegal immigrants. We have some from Canada and some from Mexico. We deal with them in variouse kinds of ways. Sometimes we don't notice that they are illegal, and we give them homes and jobs. Sometimes, we make them get their green card so they are then legal, and they just go about doing their things. Or we just don't offer them service. They sometimes come to our country to get jobs, better education, and to get better health care.

summer

well, over the summer some of my friends that live in Germany came over. We took them to six flags fiesta Texas, Port Aransas, The Alamo and various other places around Texas. I then went back to Port Aransas with my family and my friend Catherine. My best friend Aya moved to Tel Aviv, Israel. :( On the forth of July, I went to the neighborhood parade, ate lots of barbecue and my friends (Allison, Catherine, and Olivia) came over and swam in my smallish pool. Summer was so much fun. I wish that summer was longer but i guess i have to learn math sometime.

Hi my name is Margaret. I am from Austin, Texas U.S.A. I have two brothers, one is David and one is James. My mom works for Health and Human Services and my dad for ACC police chief. I have one pet, a cocker spainel named Brandi
I have been playing the violin for almost 5 years, I have played the guitar for almost 1 year, and I have played the piano for about 3 years. I also play soccer, and have played for alomst 8 years. In school, I am taking German, orchestra and soccer as my electives.
